“The Journey of Padma Awardees 2022” – Get-Together event at Surat – Gujarat
“Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” is our culture. Our intentions should be to perceive the whole earth as a family, to see God in everything and serve the masses. We need to work for the country, for the Dharma. Everyone is living their personal life. There is a need to move beyond this, by creating love and affection among people. Keeping aside thought of inferiority complex, we should think I can do a lot for the religion & country. It is this thought that is going to take our country, and religion forward. Unity is the biggest strength of the country. It is duty of everyone to work for the development of the nation. So let’s all come together and work for the religion, country. Such an addressing appeal was made by the International Spiritual Leader, Padma Shri awardee Pujya Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji.
Pujya Swamiji was addressing an interactive session of Padma Awardees 2022 organised by the Hari Krishna Exports Pvt. Ltd. at Surat, Gujarat. Pujya Swamiji congratulated Hari Krishna Exports Pvt. Ltd. group’s founder and chairman Savji Dholakia for organizing such a special and unique event to bring together all the Padma awardees with an idea of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.
On Saturday March 25, a dialogue on “The Journey of Padma Awardees 2022” , an interactive session was formally inaugurated with the lighting of a lamp in the presence of Pujya swamiji, organizing head – Savji Dholakia, other dignitaries and Padma Awardees 2022. All the Padma awardees who participated in the event expressed their thoughts, their experience of outstanding work in various fields for the country.
On Sunday March 26, the concluding session of the event was attended by the Former President of India Shri. Ram Nath Kovindji, and His Excellency the Governor of Gujarat, Acharya Devvratji. Entrepreneur Savji Dholakia has set an example to all by organising this first ever get together of Padma Awardees 2022. Hon’ble, Ram Nath Kovindji, the 14th President of the country, expressed the view that “We will organize a get together of all the award winners, to whom I had the privilege to confer Padma Awards. Such get together of Padma Awardees should be held every year.” The event concluded with the national anthem.
