“Deepawali” Illuminating the Path of Spiritual Enlightenment with Sadguruji

Diwali, also known as Deepavali, is a widely celebrated Hindu festival that signifies the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil. Homes, streets, and public spaces are adorned with a dazzling array of bright lights, creating a mesmerizing sight. Thus Deepawali also holds a special significance in the spiritual teachings of Pujya Sadguru.

Sadguruji emphasizes the profound symbolism of Diwali in their teachings and often speaks about the inner light and the journey of self-realization that mirrors the festival’s essence.

Diwali’s central theme is the victory of light over darkness. Swamiji teaches that individuals should strive to conquer the darkness within themselves, which represents ignorance, negativity, and ego. By kindling the inner light of consciousness, one can overcome this darkness and find true inner peace.

During Diwali, oil lamps or diyas are lit to symbolize the dispelling of ignorance with the light of knowledge. As our Pujya Sadguru Mauli encourages their seekers to ignite the lamp of wisdom within themselves through self-inquiry and meditation, thereby gaining clarity and insight into their true self.

Diwali serves as a powerful backdrop for Sadguru’s spiritual teachings. Through the victory of light over darkness, the festival and Sadguru’s teachings share a common message of Maintaining Communal Harmony, Inner peace, and the path to Spiritual Enlightenment.

Deepawali is not merely a festival of grandeur and splendor; it is a time for self-discovery and spiritual growth. So on this auspicious occasion, I pray to the lotus feet of His Holiness Padma Shri Awardee Sadguru Brahmeshandacharya swamiji to encourage and give blessings to each one of us, to embark on a spiritual journey of inner transformation and embrace the virtues of love, compassion, and wisdom.
