Ayurveda is the traditional health science of India, which originated 5000 years back. The word AYUR literally
means life and VEDA, science or knowledge. Ayurveda briefly explains the knowledge of the do’s and don’ts
one has to follow, which favors the well being of each individual to lead a healthy, happy, comfortable and
advantageous life physically, mentally & socially Ayurveda teaches you the way of better living.
AYURVEDIC HOSPITAL,COLLEGE & RESEARCH CENTRE
Ayurveda is known to be the most dated back method of healing; the most ancient scientific system of
medicine in the world. It is the traditional form of healing ailments in the body, the holistic way.
The P.P. Padmanabh group has always taken initiative to bring Ayurveda closer to people. Our new initiative
is to help people learn this traditional cure, a treatment methodology that has originated in this beautiful land
of ours. The P.P. Padmanabh Ayurveda Hospital, Medical College & Research Centre opens its doors to all.
The facilities being initiated are a part of our undeterred endeavor to spread the fame of Ayurveda, the
traditional Indian system of healing and healthy balanced living, in the country and abroad. The college
provides excellent standards in practical clinical training and research facilities, both at undergraduate and
postgraduate levels. The college aims to promote Ayurveda through trend-setting education, intensive
research and developments programmes, expert guidance on the basic principles etc. with a view to
propagate this ancient branch of science at a global level.

MISSION
The main motto of the institute is to create health awareness in the society by the means of Yoga and
Naturopathy and to promote our oriental and traditional heritage in the form of the sciences of Yoga and
Naturopathy, thereby integrating Ayurveda in the lives of every individual.
FACILITIES
Well-equipped 500 bedded hospital, spacious laboratories, well ventilated classrooms, library with more than
15,000 books on Ayurveda and allied Health Sciences, internet facilities, sport facilities on university spor
ground, hostel facility for boys and girls, highly qualified and experienced faculty, good infrastructure along
with classrooms, well-equipped dissection hall, laboratories, museums and a hospital for practical and
clinical training.
It shall be the only Ayurvedic hospital that shall run round the clock emergency services in Goa.
VEDIC RESEARCH CENTRE & HERBAL SCIENCES
India has a rich, century’s old heritage of medical and health sciences. About the oldest health management
system of the world, It is said that Ayurveda is as old as humanity itself. As legend has it, meditating ascetics
from the Himalaya region received the Ayurvedic wisdom from heavenly healers. The oldest written records
date back to 5,000 – 3,000 years before Christ. With that, Ayurveda counts as the oldest health management system in the world and is known as the “Mother of Medicine”.
PROPOSED MANUFACTURING FACILITY
The proposed manufacturing facility for Ayurveda research and formulations would be a GMP certified facility licensed by the State Drug controlling authority. The facility will focus on “new generation medicinos” instead of classical Ayurvedic products. This will include patented and proprietary drugs such as a range of active pharmaceutical ingredients for the Kashyas.
In addition, it will also manufacture tablets, granules and gels. The unit will have multiple sections such as pre-processing and processing section and clean room. The unit will also grow its range of herbs and plants which will make it self-contained. Total estimated cost for proposed Ayurveda Project is 479.14 crores(INR).
